Gosh it has been a WHILE (few years) since I've been on Black Labrador! The site looks great!

Everything has been good, the kids are doing great and life is peachy.While I was off of BL, we retired Bella & Daisy and are now welcoming our 2nd generation into the world any day now. Our lovely Dottie (now 3 yrs old) is due to have her first litter any day now! She passed her clearances and is OFA Hips Excellent, Normal Elbows, Eyes are ACVO Normal, EIC and prcd-PRA Clear. The sire is our new boy, Tuff, who also passed his clearances with preliminary OFA Good Hips, Normal Elbows and Eyes ACVO Normal. We (my self and a couple breeder friends, plus the puppy families on our waiting list) are all very excited about this litter.

We are expecting all black, but possibly may get a surprise (Dottie may carry yellow, but we don't know since we didn't coat color test). I don't care what gender or color/s; I'm just praying for an uneventful whelping & happy, healthy babies and momma!

Anyway I posted some new pics in the gallery of the kids; I hope everyone has been well and it's nice to be back!

Thanks! Oh yes, we have been pretty busy here. Dottie & Hannah both entered their first show and did well. Dottie has done better then Hannah, since Hannah had been maturing at a different rate. Dottie has not yet gone WB for any points. We will keep trying with both girls. Right now Dottie will be on whelping box leave and will not enter the show ring again until fully recovered from her litter. I also tried Rocky in Rally O. I will tell you that did not go well. He mastered all the stations AT HOME but when it came our turn to do the course at the show, he didn't want to do anything lol. I attempted the course anyway with a NQ score. At least we got a few stations right lol. We shale keep working on it and get him past his fear of preforming in front of crowds. Tuff is our newest member, he's currently going through obedience training and our goal is for him to enter the show ring next year. I also want to get his CGC and get him up to par so he is trained enough in the field to accomplish his WC. We have high hopes for him since it appears he actually may enjoy showing (unlike Rocky who hates it, he mopes around the ring) and he's a good looking boy already (just going through the gangly stage at the moment). We just gotta work at it!

Life with Labradors- what could be more fun!!! It's always fun here with a house full of Labrador wags and wiggles!

Thank you! Oh yes- we're very much going to enjoy the next 8 weeks snuggling 4 precious little Black lab babies! I'll make a new post, but Dottie blessed us with 4 beautiful little black Lab babies- 1 male and 3 females. All are doing very well and Dottie has settled in and is being a fantastic momma!
