Hi Guys,
Just a quick one, my 12 week old lab Bronson has a habbit of having a good chew on his own tail. He will probably do it about 4 times a day. We tell him to stop, try to distract him etc but he still continues. I have had a good check over for fleas or anything that could be making it itchy and there is nothing. What would cause this and will it do his tail any damage. I have noticed that his tail seems to have a small kink in it now (hardly see it but it is there) and am hoping he is not damaging it. Does any one elses lab pup do this?
Any feedback would be great!

Does your dog seem to bite the tail after he has been wagging it? Is there a sore on the tail underneath the fur?
Could be he got his tail caught in something (like a door) where the kink is. I would ask others in the household if
this happened. He could be biting it because it is causing him pain.
