Is it possible for a dog to go through the terrible twos? My Elvis will be 2 on Friday and he has been getting himself in trouble the last few weeks. Yesterday my daughter left her room for a minute and he chewed up one of her school books. Everything he has been doing is typical lab behavior, but he has never done anything like this before.

Most definitely!
Usually this type of behavior is seen when the dog is bored. What type of activities do you do with your dog? Do you walk him? Play ball or Frisbee with him?
Is there anything unusual going on in your house? Dogs notice changes and sometimes will respond with behaviors as you have described.
