Whilst I am still trying to come to terms with the loss of my little boy Casper (with considerable difficulty I might add), who had to be relieved of his pain on 10.01.14, I like to look at the pictures, that fellow members have submitted, of their simply gorgeous labradors!

Meanwhile, I am still trying to upload images, of my Casper, so you can see, why I am so heartbroken that he is no longer with us.

It is so comforting, to share in the pride that fellow members share in their simply adorable angels.

I am never more than a short distance from a picture of Casper, and when I log on to this website, I feel that I can immerse myself  in a world peopled by kindred spirits!

So thank you for your beautiful pictures, and equally beutiful website!

From Casper's heartbroken Mommy and Daddy!

Mike and Joy.

If you are having problems uploading photos of Casper (we would REALLY like to see them!) just let me know and I'll help you along with the process. I am happy that you are still with us!

Here is how to upload photos to your gallery here on blacklabrador.com.

Note, there is only so much space allocated per user for photos. You can get more photos in that space if you use a photo editing tool to reduce the number of colors down to 256. The photo files will then take up much less space in the directory and you'll be able to post more photos.

Step 1.

On the very top of the page (right under the blacklabrador.com banner, you'll see a line:

Members   Forum    Gallery   Blogs

Click on "Gallery":

Step 2.

Click on the word "Upload" in the upper right hand corner of the page once you are on the Gallery page.

Step 3.

You will now see three option: Create New Album, Select Album and Select Category.

If you want your photos in a personal gallery from where you can insert a hyperlink select "Create New Album". If you already have a Gallery, click on Select Album, if you want to put your photo in the General Members gallery, you can click on "Members"Gallery". If you select this option, click on the little photo to the LEFt of the words "Member's Gallery".

In this case I think you will want to create your own Gallery, so click on Create New Album. The next page is where you can name your gallery (Use your blacklabrador.com userid for the name) and a description of your gallery. Then when you complete this form, click on SAVE at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4.

You now have your own gallery. Next click on "Select Gallery". Then choose the gallery you have just created.

Step 5.

Click on the "Browse" button on this new page. You can then choose photos from your hard disk to be uploaded to the website in your very own gallery. Click on the photoname that you want to upload and then click on "OK". Now you will see the filename next to the "Upload Button". Click on the upload button and your photo will be uploaded to your personal gallery on blacklabrador.com.

That's all there is to it! I have also updated the instructions under the Photo Uploading thread too.

We love photos here at Blacklabrador.com

If you see a postage stamp sized photo on the site, your upload worked. To see the photo in a larger size, just click on the postage stamp sized version and that will show you the large image. I think you deleted those versions. Upload them again and then click on the uploaded version on the site. Please use the BlackCasper album.  Right now your albums contain 0 photos.

We would love to see your photos.
