Ian here.

I'm from Northumberland in England and my dog is called Phoebe (you can see many, MANY pics of Phoebe in my gallery. I'll weed some of them out after they've been on a week or so, and replace them with new ones. Lots of them were from the previous site.)

(Insert flashy sparkly signature here!)

You leave those pictures right where they are! No WEEDING allowed. I noticed that some of them are very similar, so you can weed those out leaving the best ones of course. You can have more than one album. I think we are all in agreement that, so what if they were on the other site. We loved them then and love them now. I think I better download them before you get you mitts on them. blink.gif

Hi there,
My name is Heather I am 32 years old and I live in Manitoba Canada. Our little man is Ozzy, he is a purebread. We got him when he was six weeks old. This is my first puppy and alot of people told me that 6 weeks was too young to get him. Now our little man is 11 weeks old and doing just fine. My husband, Brad, and I just got married in September. We decided to get a puppy and really loved how friendly Labs are. I fell in love with Ozzy as soon as I seen him. Wow I never imagined how tough is is when you first bring puppy home. I had 3 weeks vacation off from work to prepare myself for him. I am so glad that I did. I got him house trained within two weeks. I would get up every 2 hours and take him outside to go to the potty. Now he tells us when he has to go.
We spoil our doggie with lots and lots of toys. It seems were always buying toys everytime we go out to the store. We just recently had a snow storm and Ozzy really loved the snow. He loves jumping and digging his head into the snow banks. He is crazy. lol

I work as a computer operator in the finance industry and my husband drives bus for a living. We enjoy physical activity and eating out at restaraunts as neither of us like cooking everyday. I also go to university part time and am looking forward to when I am done and am a dental hygenist.

Also just wanted to test this.............Worked!! ...and I've discovered that after you click on the pic to magnify it, you can magnify again when you click on the new image AND if you press F11 it takes the toolbars off the top so you just get picture - also good for slide shows (press F11 to get them back.....you probably all knew that...)

Good to see you on here Ian. I've missed pics of Phoebe. I showed the Picture in your 'Summers end' thread on the old site (Close up of her) to my Mum when I visited her a few weeks back, she says that it's definately calender material and if there is one created, put her down for a batch! biggrin.gif

Good to be here. And I haven't mentioned this above but I'm a fellow aviation buff - been to RIAT in Fairford, Glos (used to live nearby) and used to go to Finningley in S Yorks (saw the last of the Lightning, the Buccs, and the Vulcan!)

You might have gathered that from my old post showing the Typhoon cannon strikes on the rocks at Newbiggin...

I've been eager to go to Fairford for the last few years but can never seem to make it. Work/weddings/birthdays the usual stuff. I reguarly attended the Mildenhall Air Show as I'm interested in US jets too. (I have yet to catch a glimpse of my favourite, the F-14. It's retired now so here's hoping it attends a show somewhere).
Unfortunately, due to reasons that the USAF won't divulge into, Mildenhall will not be running thier annual show for the foreseeable future. It was cancelled 2002 due to the previous years' attacks in the US and the general concensus is the security factor.
Shame really.

That is so cool. What a great picture when it fills the whole screen. Love it.

When you post a picture this way you are using space that will fill up fast and you will not be able to download more. They might eventually give is more space.
If you follow the second set of directions it will post the picture right in the post full size. But then you will not be able to use the nifty F11 feature. I can see that in a few more weeks we will all be pros.

I am glad you can not delete the pictures.
I went in and put allot of Phoebes pictures as favorites then it zipped them for me and I down loaded the hole lot in about 3 sec. Great feature.

You cant not delete your pictures, this might change later I don't know. You can edit them and replace them with new pictures. I accidentally posted the wrong picture several times. I just went back and downloaded the right picture in its place.

I wish we could slide show other peoples albums. I can do my own but not someone else's. (admin.....hint hint)

Can't they disable this feature and make the second method default then? - Or am I showing my IT ignorance? I'll see if I can work out how to post pictures as you suggest, I'll go back and find your old message. I also know that Daly was trying yesterday too.

If the feature of adding a pic as an attachment is available and uses up too much disc space, there could be a few problems as new people will likely follow on-screen instructions unless told otherwise!

Lets send a hint to the admin to give us more space. Hint hint.

Hello all, My name is Tina and my lab is MoJo, but I guess you can see that, lol. We live in Fayetteville, NC. I am divorced and have no kids atleast none without fur. I am a new lab mom and have enjoyed and learned alot from this site. I know now that MoJo isnt nuts he is just a lab, lol. I had 2 wolf/malamute mixes before that past away this past year, they were 14 yrs. old and though I will miss them very much MoJo has brought much joy in my life. I didnt pick him out because a friend at work put him on my porch and rang the door bell for me to find. I guess he picked me out through her and I wouldnt of picked any other dog. I just recently lost my mom and when I have been down he will do one of those lab things that will make me laugh or he will just cuddle with me.

I enjoy movies, dinners, chillin out at home. I have had the same job for 17 yrs. I design house plans. When im not at work I'm either hanging out with MoJo, family or friends. I try to enjoy the simple things in life.

Well I think that is just about it, I'm just a simple person leading a simple life.

OK, hope I managed to get this in the right place lol...

I am Kay... from Lockerbie in Scotland... I have 10 Labradors 3 yellow and 6 black and 1 chocolate... I show at championship level.

I took early retirement at 45 as a forensic Accountant (fraud investigator) to concentrate on my dogs etc... I also train to the gun and do obedience training.

I spend much of my time researching... things like CHV,(canine herpes) and the instigation of the vaccine introduced into the UK in 2003 (sadly still not available in the US) Studied canine nutrition etc... basically all things Labrador lol.... not a passion, just an obsession biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Not sure what else to add, but will catch on slowly mellow.gif

Welcome to you Kay, (we're not really very far away from each other's turf!)

Hope you enjoy it here. There are some fine people and dogs from all over the globe. It's not a strict, upper crust site with KC credentials only, but it's still the best I've seen.

Your advice on lab health, training and obedience will be very valuable and will compliment our resident and well respected Mr Storm (you'll meet him sooner or later.)

...and I'm with Jeremy, I want to see some pics!

Once you learn how to post pictures in your album, like Jeremy explained. You can go to the topic 'How to post pictures'. This will explain how to post them in your forum topics. You have part of it down already.
We are eagerly looking forward to seeing them. We just loooovvvvveeee pictures here.

Hiya everyone
thought i should add my info for everyone to see smile.gif

my wife and I got our black lab "Bradley" whilst travelling around Europe on a 2year time out. He is of French origin but from English bred labs.

Bradley has travelled all around Europe and has posed outside such amazing sightseeing destinations as The leaning of Pisa, Surf beaches in France like Biarritz and swam in mountain lakes in the Pyrenees and even Lake Geneva in Switzerland so i guess he must be one of the most adventurous and most travelled labs ever smile.gif

You can read all about his adventures on the website we setup for all lab owners at http://www.labradorforums.co.uk
