It took my husband 4 years to persuade me to get a dog for our family. My biggest concern was 'what do we do with Hugo' when we need to go out for the day or when we take a holiday. We eventually got Hugo and what a joy he has been, he makes us laugh and brings so much joy into all our lives, we have wonderful family walks in the countryside and it's wonderful to come home to a wagging tail everyday!
Over time i became aware of the many dog sitters, dog walkers and doggy day care centers around to help when you need to go out for the day, i also realized there are different types of dog boarding available.
This knowledge inspired me to create a quick & easy Dog Sitting & Boarding Directory, where dog owners can find local dog care at the click of a mouse! I wanted our directory to be informative, visual and easy to use. At the beginning of August 2010 Lodgethatdog was launched and I would like to thank Hugo for his big part in helping me create our great new directory!
